MJA Properties is a building company based in Cornwall. Our specialism is listed buildings and heritage work: older properties that need repairs and alterations in keeping with how they were built.
Our restoration of a derelict stone property was featured in the October edition of BBC Escape to the Country. The building had lost its roof when we started. We kept and repaired the stone walls, built a new roof, and framed, boarded, plastered and finished the inside as a home.
We do both internal and external plastering. Inside that means boarding and skimming walls and ceilings, including vaulted ceilings and arches. Outside it means rendering and render repairs, with materials chosen to suit the wall.
We also build extensions, carry out brickwork, and take on whole house renovations and room by room refurbishments across Cornwall.

We do both internal and external plastering on any type of property, on our own building work and as a service on its own: boarding and skimming inside, render systems and render repairs outside.
